Sakku School Mission Statement

         We, at Sakku School, believe that education is a team effort that includes the necessary involvement of  staff, students,  parents/ guardians and the community.  We believe that every child has the right to learn and graduate, to be educated intellectually, physically and socially.  Sakku School will provide an environment that is safe, caring and respected.   Staff and community are responsible and held accountable for each child’s success.  Education should be locally directed, centered around traditional culture and language, and demanding high academic standards and achievement.  Our goal is to graduate students that are life-long learners, confident of their abilities, respectful of themselves and others, and capable of contributing to society and their community.
